Ok so last night, I was happily eating my dinner, and then we finished, and my shoulder felt like someone was stabbing me, alright I can deal with that, then my arm went completely numb. I started to worry when I could no longer move my fingers. My dad took me to the hospital and we were there for 2 hours, and I literally made my er doctor there scratch his head. He thought it was my rotator cup, the thing that’s goes along with your shoulder but then xrays later nothing is wrong with me.

He doesn’t think it has anything to do with MS but i’m worried because its still really stiff and sore.

    Any advice?

Ouch! It might be helpful to see a massage therapist to help work out the stiffness and help promote circulation. I’ve found this to be really helpful. (I have no feeling in my upper back, arms and hands due to spinal cord lesions.) Do you have an MS specialist that you can report these symptoms to?

I would suggest massage as well. A good registered massage therapist should know how to help you. Extra strength tylenol should help you as well. Hopefully it just goes away within the week and you just had a “that was weird” moment.

    Hey ya’ll

I finally figured out what it was.

My cat enjoys sleeping on my shoulder and she pushes it back so its like pressed against my back.

Finally figuring it out when she woke me up because of how much pain she was giving to me

But yes the Massages helped so much before I figured it out

One time I thought I was having a relapse because my entire right arm and chest were numb and sore. This lasted for a couple days. I then realized it was because I was carrying my son in my right arm for over an hour the day before. He’s about 20 pounds and my arm wasn’t used to carrying him for so long. It freaked me out though. Those kinda things have happened to me a lot over the years.
